Tweens

This is it. We are officially parents of 4 "tweens". The first 3 hit the "tween" years without any perceptible change. It must be due to the fact that the first 3 are boys. They don't seem to be as affected by the "tween" mentality.

Then we come to Lauren. She came home from school on Monday very excited. Tuesday was going to be her 5th month anniversary with her BFFs (Best Friends Forever). The BFFs decided that they should give each other gifts but they had to be homemade. Nothing from the store, not even the dollar store was allowed. Lauren decided to make an art project for each of her BFFs. She spent much of her time afterschool carefully crafting her creations. She delivered her projects the next day to celebrate their anniversary.

I hope Lauren will have many anniversaries to come with her BFFs!
